Made on a loom, by hand, one length of cloth at a time. Handwoven fabric carries a texture and irregularity that no machine can replicate, the subtle variation in the weave, the weight of the cloth, the knowledge of the weaver embedded in every thread. The pieces here come from artisan clusters across India, each with its own regional loom tradition, and are designed to last accordingly.
