Terai Jacket Blue Mango

The Terai Jacket is a structured, boxy jacket in sturdy cotton canvas with a button front and patch pockets — the kind of layer that works over everything from a linen shirt to a printed dress. This version is block-printed by hand in Jaipur in a Blue Mango print: mango motifs in cool indigo and slate tones that give the classic form a more graphic, contemporary quality. Named for the Terai, the forested lowland belt at the foothills of the Himalayas.

Care instructions

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water
• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
• Do not soak for extended periods
• Dry flat in the shade — direct sunlight may fade block-printed fabrics over time
• Iron on a medium heat on the reverse side
• Minor colour and pattern variation is natural to hand block printing and part of its character

Designed and made in Jaipur in collaboration with skilled local artisans. All block printing, hand embroidery and craftsmanship is done using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Small-batch production ensures that every piece receives individual attention and that waste is kept minimal.
