The Susan is made in handwoven organic cotton gauge — a fabric with a quiet, artisanal texture that machine-made cloth cannot replicate. A drop waist with randomly placed doodle embroideries means every piece is slightly different from the last.

Care instructions

Sustainability
This piece is made in organic cotton gauge and hand-dyed in small batches using low-impact dyes. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides, uses significantly less water than conventional cotton, and supports healthier farming conditions. Dyeing in small batches reduces chemical runoff and ensures tighter colour control. Minor variations between pieces are inherent to the artisanal process and are not defects.
