Lucknow Pants Stripe Chikankari

Two craft traditions in a single garment. The fabric is a soft handwoven stripe in cotton; along it, chikankari embroidery in white thread traces delicate floral patterns — stitched entirely by hand in Lucknow. The pants are cut wide and high-waisted with an elasticated waist and side pockets, designed to be comfortable for all-day wear while remaining distinctly considered. Named for Lucknow, where the chikankari embroidery is made.

Care instructions

• Hand wash gently in cold water or machine wash on a delicate cycle
• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
• Do not soak for extended periods
• Dry flat in the shade — direct sunlight may fade both block-printed and embroidered areas
• Iron on a low heat on the reverse side; avoid direct ironing over chikankari embroidery
• Minor variation between pieces is natural to both hand block printing and hand embroidery

Designed in Jaipur and made in collaboration with skilled artisans across India — block printing in Jaipur and chikankari embroidery in Lucknow. Traditional techniques, passed down through generations, are used throughout. Small-batch production ensures minimal waste and individual attention to every piece.
