Kakori Shirt Mango Block Print

The Kakori Shirt is cut as a boxy, relaxed button-down with a slightly shorter, straight hem — a silhouette that works well open over a dress or tucked into a high-waisted skirt. Block-printed by hand in Jaipur in the classic mango motif, rendered here in warm earthy ochre and rust. Each shirt is stamped individually; subtle variations in the print from piece to piece are a record of its making. Named for Kakori, a small town in Uttar Pradesh with a long history of fine craftsmanship.

Care instructions

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water
• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
• Do not soak for extended periods
• Dry flat in the shade — direct sunlight may fade block-printed fabrics over time
• Iron on a medium heat on the reverse side
• Minor colour and pattern variation is natural to hand block printing and part of its character

Sustainability
Designed and made in Jaipur in collaboration with skilled local artisans. All block printing, hand embroidery and craftsmanship is done using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Small-batch production ensures that every piece receives individual attention and that waste is kept minimal.
