Kakori Dress Multi Color Mango Print

The Kakori Dress is cut as a midi-length shirt dress with a button-down front and side pockets. The Multi Color Mango Print is block-printed by hand in Jaipur using multiple wooden blocks, building up an all-over repeat pattern in a saturated, festive palette — saffron, rust, green, indigo. Each colour is applied in a separate pass of the block, and the slight overlaps and variations that result are a mark of the artisanal process. Named for Kakori, a town in Uttar Pradesh with a long craft heritage.

Care instructions

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water
• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
• Do not soak for extended periods
• Dry flat in the shade — direct sunlight may fade block-printed fabrics over time
• Iron on a medium heat on the reverse side
• Minor colour and pattern variation is natural to hand block printing and part of its character

Sustainability
Designed and made in Jaipur in collaboration with skilled local artisans. All block printing, hand embroidery and craftsmanship is done using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Small-batch production ensures that every piece receives individual attention and that waste is kept minimal.
