Jaigarh Shirt Mango Block Print

The mango has been central to India's craft vocabulary for centuries — present in block print, weave, embroidery and jewellery, its curved form one of the most enduring symbols in the country's visual language. Here it is printed by hand in Jaipur in warm ochre and rust tones on soft, lightweight cotton. The Jaigarh Shirt is cut in an oversized, relaxed silhouette with an open collar and straight hem. Easy, rooted, considered. Named for Jaigarh Fort.

Care instructions

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water
• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
• Do not soak for extended periods
• Dry flat in the shade — direct sunlight may fade block-printed fabrics over time
• Iron on a medium heat on the reverse side
• Minor colour and pattern variation is natural to hand block printing and part of its character

Designed and made in Jaipur in collaboration with skilled local artisans. All block printing, hand embroidery and craftsmanship is done using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Small-batch production ensures that every piece receives individual attention and that waste is kept minimal.
