Ruby dress

A dress that earns its name — the Ruby Dress is cut in a voluminous deep red cotton with an A-line flare that moves with the body. V-shaped neckline, ankle length, side pockets highlighted with hand-stitched lines along the opening. The kind of dress that is simple in every good way and does not need anything else.

• Iron on a medium heat on the reverse side
• Minor colour and weave variation is natural to handwoven fabrics and part of their character

All fabrics are handwoven by artisans using traditional techniques. Deeta works in small batches, directly with weavers and craftspeople, to ensure fair wages, minimal waste, and garments designed to last. Natural fibres, slow production, and handmade details are at the core of every piece.

Deeta is a slow fashion label grounded in India's handloom and handicraft traditions. Working closely with weavers from West Bengal and artisans across India, Deeta creates garments that combine the warmth of handwoven cotton with hand embroidery, natural dyes, block printing and shibori techniques. Every piece is made in small batches, each one carrying the mark of the hands that made it.
