• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water
• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
• Do not soak for extended periods
• Dry flat in the shade — direct sunlight may affect the fabric over time
• Iron on a medium heat on the reverse side
• Minor colour and weave variation is natural to handwoven fabrics and part of their character

All fabrics are handwoven by artisans using traditional techniques. Deeta works in small batches, directly with weavers and craftspeople, to ensure fair wages, minimal waste, and garments designed to last. Natural fibres, slow production, and handmade details are at the core of every piece.

Deeta is a slow fashion label grounded in India's handloom and handicraft traditions. Working closely with weavers from West Bengal and artisans across India, Deeta creates garments that combine the warmth of handwoven cotton with hand embroidery, natural dyes, block printing and shibori techniques. Every piece is made in small batches, each one carrying the mark of the hands that made it.
