Chairo means brown in Japanese — the ground colour of this long kaftan-style dress made in handwoven cotton. Free in size and generous in spirit: a V-neckline, hand-painted floral details at the top, hand embroidery scattered across the body, and a stripe pattern running along the sleeves and back. A garment that layers craft technique on craft technique and wears it easily.
Our model is 5'7" (170 cm) and wears Free Size.

Sustainability
All fabrics are handwoven by artisans using traditional techniques. Deeta works in small batches, directly with weavers and craftspeople, to ensure fair wages, minimal waste, and garments designed to last. Natural fibres, slow production, and handmade details are at the core of every piece.
About Deeta
Deeta is a slow fashion label grounded in India's handloom and handicraft traditions. Working closely with weavers from West Bengal and artisans across India, Deeta creates garments that combine the warmth of handwoven cotton with hand embroidery, natural dyes, block printing and shibori techniques. Every piece is made in small batches, each one carrying the mark of the hands that made it.
