Anushé Pirani

Anushé Pirani designs in reverse: the fabric comes first, woven by ikat artisans in Telangana whose families have worked the same looms for three generations, and the garment follows from what the cloth already knows how to be. Founded in Mumbai in 2017, the label uses only natural and planet-friendly dyes, sources directly from artisan cooperatives, and creates collections that have been called "wearable architecture" , contemporary in form, ancient in technique.
